Ella Pearl Bradley, 80, wife of Jackie Bradley, formerly of Looneyville and Spencer, West Virginia died peacefully on March 1st of 2014 in her home in Bethlehem, Georgia.
Ella was born August 10, 1933 in Linden, West Virginia. She was a Spencer High Scghool graduate and was part of the marching band under "Doc Brown". She was a past matron of Linden Chapter #152, Order of the Eastern Star and an active member for over 50 years. She also served as Leader of the Linden Happy Workers 4-H Club and parent volunteer for the Clover Elementary 4-H Club. She was co-owner of Bradley's Store in Looneyville.
She was a loving wife, mother of five children, grandmother to six grandchildren, great-grandmother to seven and loved by many more.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Bradley; her parents, Opie and Elizabeth Dye; and siblings, Creed Dye and Peggy Dye Spencer.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack Bradley; sister, Lula Belle and her husband, Patrick Lowe; four of her children, Margaret Ann Crowe and son-in-law Lindsey Crowe, Wayne Bradley and daughter-in-law Karen Funk Bradley, Melissa Hamlett and son-in-law Bradford Hamlett, and Myron Todd Bradley and daughter-in-law Linda Grace Bradley.
A small service at the home was performed by Michael Hipps on March 2, 2014. A service in Roane County will take place in the Spring. Her remains will be interred at the Epling Chapel cemetery in Looneyville. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, will be in charge of local arrangements at that time.
