| Leonard Edward Hardway, 41, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Division in Charleston, West Virginia.
He was born September 21, 1972 in Roane County, a son of the late Jackie Lee and Violet Perry Hardway. He was a pipeliner.
He is survived by three sons, Dustin Hardway of Spencer, Justin Hardway of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, and Nicholi Hardway of Elizabeth, West Virginia; a stepson, Briar Kelly of Spencer; two sisters, Brenda Mae Cline of Ravenswood, West Virginia and April Gay Hardway of Spencer; a brother, Donald Gary Hardway of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; and six nieces, Brionna Springston, Jaklyn Stone, Kayla, Tara, and Maya Cline, and Sarra Dawn Barr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Lee "Punkin" Hardway, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
