| Wiatt Victor Smith passed away peacefully in the arms of his Daddy and Mommy on February 26, 2014. He was born at 9:06 a.m. at Ruby Memorial Hospital and earned his angel wings at 6:58 p.m. on the same day due to complications.
Wiatt was the son of Jason and Brandy Smith of Glenville, West Virginia, and the brother of Maci Kay Smith. His paternal grandparents are Adrian Smith of West Milford and Tammy Varner of West Liberty. Wiatt's great paternal grandparents are Ruthann Smith of Uniontown, PA and Janice and Delmas Rexroad of Glenville.
Wiatt's maternal grandparents are Carl and the late Kimela Burkhammer of Cox's Mills. His great maternal grandparents are Euna Childers of Cox's Mills and Jerry Burkhammer of Weston.
Wiatt experienced numerous loving touches, gentle kisses and an insurmountable amount of "I Love You's" during his brief stay here with his loving parents.
Wiatt is deeply loved by his Daddy and Mommy as well as by his big sister Maci. His grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins will keep memories of him tucked close to their hearts. Until Daddy and Mommy gain their angel wings, he will be kept safe and warm in the arms of Grandma Kim while she plays, rocks and sings with him as they watch over all of us.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1 at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Kenny Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Troy IOOF Cemetery, Troy, WV.
