Margaret A. Sturm, 83, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, in the CAMC - Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was born August 7, 1930 at Liverpool, a daughter of the late Harold A. and Jean H. Curry Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Sturm; two sisters, Dotty Banks and Shirley Watson.
Margaret was a retired deputy clerk for the Clerk of the Roane County Commission, Spencer. She attended the Stoney Point Community Church, Arnoldsburg and was a 50 year member of the Wetzel Chapter No. 27, Order of the Eastern Star, Spencer.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Ross Walker of Spencer, Barbara and Robert Keen of Leroy, Vickie and Garry Bowen also of Spencer; one son and daughter-in-law, Denver and Patti Sturm of Spencer; one brother, James H. Marshall of Spencer; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Garry Bowen and the Rev. Robert Keen officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
