Doddridge County put a 71-43 beating on visiting Calhoun Wednesday night.
The silver lining for the Red Devils? The two schools play again tonight at Doddridge in the LKC play-in game for fifth place.
The big question: Which Calhoun team will show up? The one that has fire in its eyes looking for revenge or the one that is intimidated by the Bulldogs?
The key statistics: Calhoun scored only two points in the third quarter and shot only 26 per cent from the field.
The particulars: Ryan Slider led Calhoun, 7-11, with 21 points. He was the only Red Devil to score in double figures. Ashton Heinzman had a game high 22 for Doddridge, 6-15. Drew Lett added 14 and Jesse Lackey 11 for the victors. |
