| Velma Humes Strange, passed away February 15, 2014 at her home in Normantown, WV.
She was born December 5, 1959, a daughter of the late Richard James Humes, Sr. and Velma Louise Kerr Johnson. She was a retired tool maker for General Motors.
She is survived by her children; John (Amada) Perry, Jeannette (Marshall) Kambasha; mother, Velma Johnson; four grandchildren, John, Maria, Damoan, and Marshall; brother, Richard (Doris) Humes; sister Elsie Humes and friend Clay Minor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Humes, Sr. and brother Don Humes.
A private family service was held February 18, 2014 at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville WV. Following the services her remains were cremated. |
