Once again Calhoun played Roane County and once again the Raiders' ace Jacob Neale went wild on the Red Devils. This time Neale scored 32 points to lead Roane to an 80-59 victory much like he did in the first game when he scored 31.

Also like the first game Neale had one big quarter. This time it was the second when he scored 15 of the Raiders' 28 points to break open what had been a relatively close game. As a matter of fact at halftime Neale had outscored the entire Red Devil team as he had 21 to Calhoun's 20.

Roane was on top at the half 47-20 and Calhoun coach Danny Bunch asked his team to "win" the second half and it did so by outscoring the Raiders, 39-33. Not enough to come from behind to beat the 7-2 Raiders but enough to show some spirit despite dropping to 2-4 on the season.

Neither team will have long to think about Friday's game as Roane County travels to Tug Valley for a doubleheader while Calhoun entertains Wood County Christian, 10-1, in a boy-girl tripleheader.

The girls game is scheduled to 1:30 in the afternoon on the high school court while ther junior varsity boys game is slated for the same time at the middle school gymnasium. The varsity boys game will follow the girls game at the high school.

Neale had scoring help from Tyler Harper with 14 and Issak Wilmoth with 12.

For Calhoun Tyler Sims and Ryan Slider led the way with 15 apiece. They were backed by Sam Brady and Mason Sheldon with 11 each while Ethyn Miller had four and Tyler Gerwig two. Lucas Wilson, Luke Sheldon, Austin Gribble and Cody Starcher all played but did not score.

Roane also won the junior varsity game by a 70-36 margin.

Joe Riley led Roane with 14 while Kaleb Greathouse added 12 and Alex Ashby 10.

Gribble led Calhoun with nine while Luke Sheldon added seven. They were backed by Nick Watkins and Dylan Heiney with five each, Jerry Jones and Zack Yanero with four each, Dakota Jarvis with three and Austin Hicks with one. Riley Cain, Chris Thornton and Christopher Kirkland all played but did not score.
