| Ida Barton Day, 89, of Archdale, NC, died January 7, 2014.
She was born February 17, 1924 at Sutton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hanzel Darrel Barton and second husband Burnett Day; two daughters Mary Morgan and Cheryl Grissett; one sister Garnet Fruits.
Her living relatives are her son Robert Barton of Titusville, FL; brothers James Wilson (Rose) of Wayne WV, Donald Wilson (Ellen) of Trinity NC, Jerry Wilson (Arlene) of Kent OH and sister Anna Dean (Vernon) of St. Mary's WV; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 1:00 pm, January 13, 2014 at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Gassaway. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00-1:00 pm prior to the services. |
