| Freda Marion Norman, 82, passed away December 22, 2013 at her residence surrounded by family and friends.
She was the daughter of the late Lemuel J. Stemple and Eva Mae Propst-Stemple. She was born on January 13, 1931.
She is survived by her husband John William Norman of 37 years; four sons, Alfred Starcher of Spencer, Richard Starcher, Tony Starcher, Freddie Starcher, all of Orma; five daughters, Linda Thrasher of Cumberland MD, Carolyn Carpenter of Arnoldsburg, Virginia Starcher of Orma, Kay King of Grantsville, Norma Starcher of Orma; one sister, May Hampton of Florence, KY as well as 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Glen Eugene Starcher; infant sons, David Starcher and John Dewayne Norman; one brother, Glen Stemple; five sisters, Ethel Lloyd, Olive Husk, Mabel Wade, Vera Miner and Reta Clark.
Graveside services were held December 26, 2013 at Nobe Cemetery with Rev. John Meadows of Spencer officiating. |
