| Geneva Pricy "Jeannie" Mccumbers, 57, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center's General Division, Charleston, West Virginia.
She was born April 24, 1956 in Rochester, New York, a daughter of Macel Butler Bowe Carpenter of Spencer and the late Cecil Bowe. She was a former sales associate at Fruth Pharmacy and formerly at Murphy's.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Danny McCumbers; two daughters, Tia Reynolds and Danielle Jones, both of Spencer; a sister, Jorita Parsons of Spencer; a brother, David Bowe of Spencer; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Troy, Danny, Jadyn, and Eli.
Per Geneva's wishes, she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
