State Police investigated the use of drugs at Calhoun Middle-High School, where reportedly about a dozen students were apparently using marijuana in a locker room.
The incident happened the first week of December.
Calhoun Superintendent of Schools Roger Propst did not verify the
incident at CM-HS, but unofficial sources said that three male and nine female students were involved in the incident.
Not confirmed by official sources.
They ranged from members in the freshman to the senior class.
Those reports said that most of the students were members of the freshman class.
Reports indicate that the students were given drug tests, but that could not be confirmed.
Calhoun Schools have previously denied information regarding such incidents, citing privacy rights, although public information requests have been to confirm the incident, the number of individuals involved or other general information.
Three students were on the Calhoun Board of Education agenda this week for expulsion, but it was not known if the expulsions were linked to the incident.
