Following delays, sentencing is set Friday in Calhoun Circuit Court for a Calhoun woman, Ashley Kreh, 23, of Sinking Springs Road, who was convicted of killing her 2-month-old daughter in 2012.
Kreh could be facing up to 40 years in prison.
The judge had earlier approved a psychological evaluation after Kreh admitted her actions caused the child's death. That evaluation was returned to the court.
Kreh's significant other, Ordie Rogers, 32, of Chloe, is charged with child neglect causing death. Kreh could be testifying in Rogers' trial.
Rogers is facing up to 15 years in prison if he is convicted.
The infant died in February, 2012, of a head injury, police said the couple failed to seek medical treatment in a timely manner.
