| HUNTINGTON SHOOTING -
Robert Crutcher, 44, of Huntington has died of injuries received Tuesday evening in a shooting and a suspect has been arrested.
Crutcher suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center where he died.
Shortly after the shooting, James Lee Johnson, 25, of Michigan, arrived at Cabell Huntington Hospital by private vehicle, seeking treatment for head injuries.
He will be charged with murder.
He is also wanted out of Michigan on a weapons charge.
Media outlets are saying the victim, the suspect and other men were arguing in an upstairs bedroom at a home.
Police are saying that it appears Crutcher stepped in to tell Johnson to leave just before the shooting happened.
They say the other men then wrestled a pistol away from the suspect before he fled the home. |
