| Marie Faye Stewart Cox Lowe, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2013.
She was born October 20, 1935, a daughter of the late Herman and Anna Stewart. Faye enjoyed studying God's Word, caring for others and tending flower and vegetable gardens. She was a devoted mother, always putting the needs of others before herself.
She is survived by her son, Dewayne (Lisa) Cox; daughter, Joyce Miller; daughter-in-law, Chris Cox; and sister, Ruth (Bud) Cox; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Cox; daughter, Regina Cox Lawson; and brother, James Stewart.
She was a former employee of Kellwood, Spencer State Hospital, Roane General Hospital and Roane Home Care. After her retirement, she provided care for many people in their homes.
At her request, she was cremated with no visitation or service.
