| Lois Jane Newcomb, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Eldercare of Ripley in Ripley, West Virginia.
She was born February 22, 1935 in Roxbury, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Hazel Knott Russell. She was a homemaker and a former housecleaner in New Hampshire.
She is survived by a two sons, Russell Newcomb of Spencer and Bruce Newcomb of South Walpole, Massachusetts; a daughter, Carleen Newcomb of Claremont, New Hampshire; one sister; three brothers; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Newcomb.
There will be no visitation or service. Per the family's request, Lois will be cremated and returned to her home cemetery in New Hampshire.
The Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
