Calhoun Christmas Connection would like to thank all the volunteers and the generous donations made by Calhoun County, individuals, organizations and churches.
Applications were taken the week of October 21nd, 2013 at the Family Resource Network office, Upper West Fork Park, Committee on Aging, and Bramblewood Village. This year's project served 220 children with 256 food baskets distributed.
All applicants received a food basket provided by the Salvation Army.
This is an ongoing project throughout the year and as you shop during the year, please remember the Christmas Connection and purchase items that can be stored for next year's event such as wrapping paper and toys.
Again, the committee would like to thank everyone who has helped and continue to help us provide a wonderful Christmas to the children and families in Calhoun County.

CCCOA Executive Director Rick Poling says "Thank you to who helped make the Calhoun County Committee on Aging's 2013 "25 Days of Christmas" raffle and fundraiser a great success."
Your generosity and efforts are appreciated more than you know, giving our Senior Account funding to sponsor trips and events for Seniors and to purchase items for Bingo, special celebrations, and equipment and furnishings used in the Center.
The "25 Days of Christmas" is the Seniors' largest fundraiser of the year, and it wouldn't be possible without the invaluable help of CCCOA staff and the many people who donate prizes, sell tickets, and promote and support the effort.
Special thanks go to the individuals and businesses donating prizes: Family Dollar, Jim & Karen Yoak, Grantsville Foodland, Rhonda Price, WV DNR, D &j Apiaries, Calhoun Publishing, NAPA, Vier & Thelma Hall, Minnich's Florist, Family of Lida Bailey and Arnold Norman, Family of Roy & Ona Helmick, Judy Bowman, Family of Denver & Pearl Conrad, Betty & Richard Westfall, Kute Kreations, Rev.
