A giant fire swept through Marlinton, Pocahontas County early Sunday morning destroying an entire city block, involving about four buildings, leaving at least a dozen people homeless.
The Main Street fire started at 3:30 a.m. with a dozen local and regional fire departments responding.
The state Fire Marshal's office has been called to investigate the cause.
