| Mabel Erma Ash Waggoner Miller Tanner, 97 of Spencer, West Virginia, died November 9, 2013 at Miletree Nursing Home in Spencer.
She was born August 23, 1916 at Leatherbark, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Bertha Ash. She was a homemaker and was a former housecleaner.
She is survived by five children, Grover Waggoner and Irene (Charles) Ellis, both of Spencer, Rosalie (Danny) Alvis of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Mary (Eugene) Benear of North Carolina, and Peggy (James) Freeland of Reedy, West Virginia; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister; and several step children, grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Charlie Waggoner, Milford Miller, and Don Tanner; nine brothers and sisters; three grandchildren, Billy Waggoner, Pam Alvis, and Chris Benear; and five step children.
Service will be at 11:00am on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Memorial Cemetery. Visiting is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
