| Thomas F. Ryan, 87, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on November 3, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center General Division in Charleston, West Virginia.
He was born January 17, 1926 in Spencer, a son of the late Luster E. and Lucille Ryan Raines.
He formerly worked at Staats Pharmacy in Spencer and was office manager at Burke-Parsons-Bowlby Corporation near Spencer. He was also a member of Moriah Lodge #38 A.F. & A. M. in Spencer.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Carpenter Ryan; a daughter, Becky Haverty of Spencer; a son, Stephen Thomas Ryan and his wife Beverly of Vienna, West Virginia; a sister, Velma Ryan Conley of Spencer; a half-sister, Margaret Raines of Toronto, Canada; a half-brother, C.E. Raines of Airdrie, Alberta, Canada; four grandchildren, Stephen Thomas Ryan II, Ashley Ann Ryan, Nathan Ryan Haverty, and Jason Darrell Haverty; and a great-granddaughter, Mira Haverty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two half-brothers, William and John Raines.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer with Rev. James Epling officiating. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home as Mr. Ryan was cremated.
