Emelyn Linkinoggor, 90, of Looneyville, West Virginia, died Sunday, November 3, 2013, in the Miletree Center, Spencer, after an extended illness.
She was born June 24, 1923, at Duck WV a daughter of the late Dyer and Emma Vaughn Duffield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hiawatha Linkinoggor; sisters, Cora Moore and Wilma Eyermann; brothers, Carl, Spencer, Cecil and Russell Duffield.
She was a retired LPN, mother and grandmother. She was a Baptist. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially her family.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Toni Linkinogger of Scotland, Ark., John and Cathy Linkinoggor of Looneyville, Mark Linkinoggor of Parkersburg WV; brother, Paul Duffield of California; seven grandchildren, Alicia Clarkson, Stephenie Watson, Chandis Linkinogger, Amanda Strickland, Adam Linkinoggor, Ashley Linkinoggor and Joseph Linkinoggor; 16 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Bill Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
