| -A 22-year-old Braxton man was arrested after police say he met a 12-year-old girl on Facebook and was trying to meet her for sex.
Harry Hinkle was arrested and charged with third degree sexual assault and soliciting a minor.
Hinkle was on probation for a grand larceny charge.
- Michael Seth Johnson, 20, of Gilmer County, has been charged with underage drinking, destruction/injury to property, domestic battery. and also be held on a capias warrant. He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $5,000.
- Dixie Lynn Helmick, 35, was arrested by Gilmer police with possession of pot more than 15 grams and conspiracy. She has been released from Central Regional jail with bond posted.
