UPDATE: SPENCER MEN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT - 12-Year-Olds Reported Missing

(10/26/2013)
Roane County authorities have now arrested a second person for sexual assault in a case that unfolded this week.

Charles Michael Roach, 19, has been charged with sexual assault, 3rd degree, probation violation and trespassing.

Arrested earlier was Kenneth Christopher Kudrick, 19, who was charged with sexual assault, 3rd degree.

Roane deputies responded to a residence on West Main St. in Spencer where they discovered Charles M. Roach who told them his son, Charles Michael Roach Jr. had seen the officer coming and jumped out the window, the complaint said.

Deputies found Roach Jr. walking along Chapman Avenue.

They questioned him about two 12-year-old female juveniles who had been reported missing by their parents, with Roach Jr. telling deputies that the girls were at an abandoned home on Bartlett Avenue.

Deputies discovered the two female juveniles and a male juvenile, sleeping inside the home, according to the criminal complaint.

The complaint says one of the females told Sgt. M.P. King that while she was sleeping in the abandoned house with Roach Jr., she felt hands down her pants and when she opened her eyes, she saw Kenneth "Kenny" Kudrick.

She told the officer she got up to run away and Kudrick ran out of the house and she never saw him the rest of that night.

Kudrick and Roach are in Central Regional Jail on a $100,100 bond each.
