| A Clay County man and wife from Nebo, Clay County (Route 16) died from injuries received in a Tuesday accident on I-79 near Amma, Roane County.
Funeral arrangements are pending for Edward S. Harper, 44, and his wife Candance, 43. Their 16-year-old son Rory survived the "massive and tangled wreck" which had the interstate closed for an extended time.
A vehicle belonging to a Webster County man went across the median and crashed into the the Harper vehicle. He was identified as Thomas Kerns, 21.
