Earthquake shakin' returned to Braxton County Sunday, an area that has experienced about a dozen small quakes in recent years.
The minor earthquake shook the Sutton area of Braxton County early Sunday.
The National Geological Survey's says that a magnitude 2.2 earthquake occurred around 5:20 a.m. Sunday.
They say the epicenter was 6 miles west-northwest of Sutton in the Wilsie area.
State officials say a number of quakes reported in Braxton and Gilmer county are not connected with Marcellus Shale drilling or fracking, or the insertion of millions of gallons of discarded by-products in old wells used for storage.
No damage reported Sunday.
