| A Civil War battle reenactment at Burnsville Lake has been canceled because of the federal government shutdown.
The Battle of Bulltown reenactment was scheduled for Oct. 12 at the Burnsville Lake's Bulltown Campground has been canceled, along with other events scheduled for the campground.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said that all of its campgrounds, day-use parks and federal visitor centers across the nation are closed because of the government shut-down.
