Howard Radar Sharp, 74, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at his home.
He was born August 19, 1939 in Roane County, a son of the late Woodrow and Ora Flinner Sharp. He was a mechanic and a junk man.
He is survived by his daughter, Beth Griffin of Spencer; four sisters, Susie Graham of Marietta, Ohio, Brenda K. Keifer of Charleston, West Virginia, Mary Gillespie of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and Pauline Freeman of North Carolina; four brothers, Olie Sharp of Crossville, Tennessee, James Sharp and Harry Truman Sharp, both of Parkersburg, and Donnie Hayhurst of Spencer; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Howard Sharp, Jr. and a sister, Goldie May Sharp.
Per Rader's request, he will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date at his home.
