Ida M. Tucker Dye, 97 of Windham, Ohio died Wednesday, February 14th.
at her home
following a long illness.
Born March 29, 1903 in Braxton County, she was a daughter of the late
William and Lillian
Tucker.
Surviving Mrs. Dye are a sister, Bertha Holcomb of Clanton, AL, two
grandchildren, Connie Dye
Moore of Fairview, WV and Ricky Dye of Shinnston, WV. Five great
grandchildren and five
great, great grandchildren. A foster son, William Dye of Leavittsburg,
Ohio, a foster
granddaughter, Nancy Dye of Windham, Ohio with which Mrs. Dye had
lived for the past 18
years, several additional foster grandchildren in Windham and
Leavittsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dye in 1961, two
sons, Edgar Dye in 1989
and Cecil Dye in 1930. One grandson, Ronald Dye in 1993, four brothers
and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Stump Funeral
Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Rev.
Robert Shannon will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Run
Cemetery, Nicut, WV. Friends
may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
