Calhoun County Committee on Aging is pleased to offer Basic First Aid, a class for anyone age 60 or over or any age that is a family caregiver.
Class will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at Calhoun County Committee on Aging, in the Fitness room. Call CCCOA at 304-354-7822 for further information.
Topics covered will include burns, broken bones, falls, how to control bleeding. Snake and spider bites. Warning signs of a heart attack or stroke, poison prevention and breathing emergencies. There will be no charge for this class. This is not a certified First Aid course, but general information to help individuals know how to handle family emergencies.
