| Catherine Fae Keaton, 89, of Deland, Florida formerly of Roane County, West Virginia died September 20, 2013 at Woodland Terrace in Deland.
She was born May 5, 1924 in Linden, West Virginia a daughter of the late James F. and Lucretia Hamric O'Brien. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Deland. She and her late husband, Harry F. Keaton, were members of the American Legion in Crescent City, Florida.
She is survived by one daughter, Crecy Smith of Deland; two sons, Harry F. Keaton II of Newton, West Virginia and James A. Keaton of Gassaway, West Virginia; one brother, James O'Brien of New Hampshire; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Service will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia with Revs. Michael Lamb and Robert Casto officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery near Spencer. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. |
