Westbrook Health Services and Calhoun Parish United Methodist Churches will be having a workshop on teen depression on Tuesday September 24 at 6:30 pm at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, State Rt 16, Mt. Zion WV
Parents, grandparents, teachers, teens, youth workers and any others that have a concern for youth are invited to attend.
During this FREE Workshop You Will:
*Learn the signs of depression
* Work on strategies to support your loved one
* Discuss how depression is connected to other issues
Teens and family members will have the opportunity to learn more about the difference between typical changes in behavior during the adolescent years and the warning signs of depression. Presenters Gary Nelson and Nancy Creighton will help families better understand what it means to be a young person living with depression and what family members can do to help.
