| A Roane County man has died in a Jackson County truck crash that also killed a woman.
John E. Little, 59, of Gandeeville, was a passenger in a truck driven by Brian Hunt, 47, of Sandyville. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another passenger, Wanda F. Simmons, 54, of Leroy, died from her injuries in a Charleston hospital.
State Police are saying that alcohol and speed likely led to the crash.
Charges could be filed against the driver, they said.
