| Jack E. "Chip" Davis, 62, of Ripley, West Virginia, died at 11:31 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013 in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington.
He was born January 8, 1951, in Spencer, the son of the late Jack Spencer and Mary Pauline Cottrell Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-sister, Alice Kay O'Brien.
Chip was an electrician and contractor.
Survivors include a nephew, several cousins and many friends.
He has been cremated. There is no visitation or service planned at this time.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted with the cremation arrangements.
