| Donald G. Gatsoff, 80, of Grantsville, WV, went to be with the Lord on, Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Charleston Area Medical Center.
He was born December 6, 1932 in Columbus, OH. He had made his home for the past nine years at the Long Term Care Unit of Minnie Hamilton Health System. He was a Christian and had a special place in the hearts of many churches that provided services at the facility. He prided himself in serving as the resident council president and enjoyed making sure the courtyard always looked beautiful.
He was a retired restaurant owner and served a medic in the Army.
He is survived by his nursing home family and his roommate, Larry Ball as well as special friends in the community that included Rev. Rick Metheney and his wife Susie, Tim Davis, David Trippett, Gloria Stevens, Carolyn (Sue) Arthur, Joyce Fitzwater and Keith Poling and family.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 1:00pm, at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Grantsville with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville is in charge of the services. |
