| Mary Lue Bower, 84, passed away on August 12, 2013.
She was born October 13, 1928 in Pad, West Virginia to Willis Wayne and Grace McKinley Phillips.
She worked as a secretary for 21 years at Summerville's Office Supply, retiring in 1990. She was a founding board member of
The Giving Doll Volunteer of the Year in 2011 and helped direct the Barberton Giving Doll Program.
Mary Lue was preceded in death by her father, Willis Wayne Phillips; and brothers, Elmer and Carl Phillips.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas; daughter, Jan (Mark) Householder; sister-in-law, Ann Phillips; niece and nephews.
A visitation service was held at the Bacher Funeral Home, Akron, OH Thursday, August 15, 2013.
Graveside services will be held Saturday August 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at the Big Bend Cemetery Big Bend, West Virginia. The Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville is in charge of the service.
