Ruby Garnette Mowery, 90, of Canton, Ohio, died August 28, 2002 in Ohio.
Garnette was born January 26, 1912 at Curtin, Nicholas County, WV. She was the daughter of
the late Fred H. and Grace Griffith Bennett. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist
Church near Creston, WV.
She is survived by one sister, Eula Winston of East Sparta, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of forty one years, Noah E. Mowery; one sister,
Lorena Headly of Creston; four brothers, Raymond C. Bennett of Nutter Fort, WV, Ola F.
Bennett of Barberton, Ohio, Coye Bennett of Cooksville, Ohio and Corporal Othel B. Bennett,
W.W.II, US Army, 1944.
Private family graveside services will be held Friday, August 30, 2002 in the McCray Cemetery,
