Arnoldsburg Elementary School will host its annual Open House on Tuesday on the grounds of the school from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
This year's theme will be Duck Dynasty. Everyone, adults and students, are encouraged to wear their camo gear, etc.
Parents, grandparents, students and other interested individuals will be able to meet teachers, staff and administration. BBQ, chips, sweet tea, etc. will be served. There will be corn hole, other games and activities. Individuals will be available for tours of the new building.
There will be representatives from Save the Children, Minnie Hamilton Health System - School-Based Health (SBH), Mrs. Trudi Anderson, school nurse, HeadStart, Mr. Tyson Price, technology and Ms. Nancy Sams, school counselor.
School starts August 15, 2013. The school day has changed. The gym doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and the instructional day begins at 7:45 a.m. Students are TARDY after 8:00 a.m.
Also parent pick-up is at 3:45 p.m. in the gym. There will be no early buses - all buses will leave AES at 3:45 p.m.
