Glenville Energy Express students got the opportunity to spend time with Dot Underwood last week.
Mrs. Underwood has volunteered with Energy Express before and really loves reading to the students. She explained that she was a representative to Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and First Lady JoAnne Tomblin.
Mrs. Underwood quizzed all the students on West Virginia State History and then read stories to the students. She also told a few West Virginia tall tales of her own, like having a pet black bear in her back yard and her neighbors being extremely afraid of it.
