TEEN CHARGED IN STABBING DEATH -
A Mingo County teen stabbed a man to death Thursday evening.
Police are saying James Hinkle, 19, got into a fight with Chris Wolford at Wolford's home and stabbed him in the stomach. He died shortly at a Logan hospital.
Police say a number of Wolford's family witnessed the murder
He is Southwestern Regional Jail.
SHOTS FIRED IN POLICE CHASE - South Charleston police were chasing a man with a gun and shots were fired.
Officers are looking for a black male, believed to be carrying an AK-47 type of weapon.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department SWAT team is on the scene to Thursday night to aid in the search for the gunman.
BAR SHOOTIN' - A Marion County man 36-year-old William Kenneth Renner II was arrested after he reportedly fired shots off into the air following a bar fight at the Fast Lane Bar.
Renner II was charged with wanton endangerment after he and two friends allegedly got into an argument with the owners of the bar.
According to the criminal complaint, Renner allegedly pulled out a .38 caliber revolver, and fired four shots into the air from a parking lot across the street.
He is in the North Central Regional Jail.
SHOTS FIRED AT SECURITY GUARD -
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is investigating an incident where shots were fired at a security guard at 11:30 p.m. near East Bank.
Police are saying the security guard was sitting in his truck, guarding mining equipment someone walked up and fired two shots.
The person was in a utility vehicle when it stopped about 50-yards away from the guard when he fired a shotgun and then ran into the woods.
The guard was not injured, but his truck was damaged.
CHARLESTON SHOOTING - Police are continuing to investigate the shooting of a man who was shot twice while walking down the street.
Charleston Police say James Foster, 19, was shot in the leg and arm, saying Foster and his girlfriend kept walking until he finally collapsed on Leon Sullivan Way.
His girlfriend called 911 and he was taken to the hospital.
Police say Foster had just left a party.
No motive for the shooting has been released.
