| Betty Gains, 77, of Parkersburg WV went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2013.
She was born in Doddridge County the daughter of the late Lloyd and Gladys (Mosser) Leeson.
She worked for several years at the former TACK room in Parkersburg.
She loved reading and spending time with her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Vicki Horton of Parkersburg, Dale Gains Jr. of Marietta Ohio, and Randy Goff of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Shavonna (Mark) Jones of Elizabeth WV and their two children Katlynn and Casey, Eddie (Elsie) Horton and their two children Emilia and Ella, Timothy (Audrey) Goff of Charleston WV and their two children Nadia and Waylon, and Lisa (Edward) Summers of Parkersburg and their two children Solomon and Epiphany; 1 sister Velma Null of Belpre Ohio.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; two brothers Leroy and Orval Lesson; and 2 sisters Loxie Hedges and Roxie Bashaw.
Visitation to celebrate her life will be Thursday Aug. 1, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV.
