Kai Lee Helmick, 2 ½ days of age, passed away at Cabell Huntington Hospital, July 27, 2013.
Kai was born in Huntington on July 25, 2013, the son of Kevin and Jennifer Cottrell Helmick of Orma WV.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Alexis Helmick. His maternal grandparents, Bobby and Rosetta Cottrell of Stumptown, paternal grandparents Dennis and Katherine Helmick of Nicut. Maternal great grandparents Russell Cottrell of Shock and Linda McCumbers of Arnoldsburg. He is also survived by uncles Cody and Joey (Andrea) Helmick and Bobby Cottrell Jr.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Willard McCumbers and grandmother Etta Cottrell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013, 2:00 pm, at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg with Jason Nettles officiating. Burial will follow in the Metz Cemetery at Nicut. Friends may call from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the services. |
