| Mary Ellen Linger, 78, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away July 19, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 18, 1934, in Calhoun County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Denver G. Yoak and Nell M. Fitzhugh Yoak.
Mary graduated from Calhoun County High School and was a homemaker, loved playing bingo, going to the flea market and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Delmar A. Linger; two daughters, Kay Deem (Greg) of Mineral Wells and Teresa Shackelford (Greg) of Clarksburg, W.Va.; five sons, Doug Linger (Lisa) of Elizabeth, W.Va., Delmar Linger of Lisbon, Ohio, Butch Fortney (Robin) of Marietta, Ohio, Barry Occurran (Robin) of Marietta, Ohio, and Greg Cooper (Sharon) of Belpre, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Denver Yoak Jr.; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services for Mary will be 6 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va., with Pastor Harry Miller officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4-6 p.m. |
