LEWIS MAN ARRESTED - State Police in Lewis County arrested Bradley Shane Riffle, 20, Saturday night and charged him with assault, battery and brandishing a weapon charges.
Police had responded to a domestic dispute and discovered that Riffle had struck a 14-year-old boy who suffered minor injuries.
Riffle, according to the criminal complaint, also threatened to shoot others and was in the possession of a firearm.
Riffle then threatened to shoot officers before threatening to shoot himself.
He is currently in the Central Regional Jail.
GAS STATION HOLD-UP -
Sheriff's deputies are searching for two armed robbery suspects accused of robbing a Sunoco gas station in the Mahan area early Saturday morning.
A clerk told police that a white woman with short blonde hair and multiple tatoos on her arms walked around in the store for a few minutes, and when she left a black man
wearing a hooded sweat shirt with what appeared to be a large growth on the side of his neck entered the store.
The man had a handgun and demanded all the cash in the register, threatening to kill the clerk.
After getting the money, the couple fled the scene in a vehicle.
