MORGANTOWN ROBBERY - A man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery in Morgantown.
Korey Michael Harris, 20 of St. Augustine, Fl., was arrested and charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy, according to the Morgantown Police Department.
Harris is being held in North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $75,000.
Police said Harris and two other people broke into a home and held the residents at gunpoint. Three men got away with cash and electronics.
HUNTINGTON MAN STABBED - Huntington Police say 22-year-old Vernatter was stabbed during a domestic disturbance.
Lt. John Williams says Verantter was cut on the abdomen with a box cutter. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Williams say the incident involved Vernatter, his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend.
MORGANTOWN HEIST - Morgantown Police arrested one man for holding up a person at knife point Friday morning.
According to a news release, police suspect Manuel Bendana and another man drew knives and robbed a person shortly before 1:00 a.m. Friday on High Street.
The victim told police that the men got away in a dark green Jeep Commander. The vehicle was later spotted in the Sabraton neighborhood.
Police arrested Bendana while the other suspect fled on foot. |
