| Oleta Olive Parker, 80, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Eldercare of Ripley in Ripley, West Virginia.
She was born April 29, 1933 at Valley Fork in Clay County, a daughter of Ivy Orpha McLaughlin Jarvis of Pennsylvania and the late Ira William Jarvis. She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Little Creek Baptist Church near Spencer.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by seven sons, Ezra, Eddie, Edsel, Emil, Bobby, Billie, and Jackie Parker, all of Spencer; a daughter, Linda Carpenter of Spencer; a sister, Lucy Mae Heffelfinger of Pennsylvania; a brother, Ezra Jarvis of Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Ray Parker.
Service will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. James Epling officiating. Burial will follow in the Parker Family Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
