Albert Edmond Ball, 89, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away June 24, 2013. He was born June 18, 1924, in Rocksdale, West Virginia, to the late Lenna Ball and Lelah Keith Ball.
Al served in the U.S. Army during World War II, earning two unit battle stars (Rhineland and Central Europe).
He graduated from Purdue University with a BS degree in Agriculture. He retired from the farm fertilizer industry. He enjoyed country western dancing with his wife, Evelyn V. Clarke, who preceded him in death in 2007.
Al is survived by his daughters, Janet Crawford Poulimas of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kathy Smith of Atlanta,Georgia, four grandchildren, two stepchildren, and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 2:00-3 pm. Memorial Service at 300 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Rd. Greenwood, Indiana.
