Five 'Jump Company USA' team members demonstrated the skills that have made them World Jump Rope Champions in a performance for Pleasant Hill School students in May.
Jump Company USA has been based at the Jefferson Elementary Center in Parkersburg, WV, since its establishment in 2006. Made up of boys and girls ages 7 to 24, they are recognized as one of the top rope skipping teams worldwide. Jumpers compete at local, regional, national, and world tournaments.
They are dedicated to the promotion of the sport of jump rope as a life-long physical fitness activity, Jump Company's purpose is to inspire, motivate, and educate people of all ages while developing and supporting local, regional, national, and international jump rope competitions, workshops, camps, and performances.
After the performance, Jump Rope Company worked with Pleasant Hill students teaching them basic jump rope skills.
