A Russett Rd. House was a total loss
Fire destroyed a Russett Road house late Saturday night, the structure was fully engulfed when the Grantsville VFD arrived after the 11:24 p.m. call.
Firemen quickly brought the blaze under control.
An arc from a downed power line lit up the fire scene
The house, reportedly belonging to Paul Goodrich, was vacant, according to sources at the scene.
A downed power line across Rt. 5 was arcing, lighting up the area when firemen arrived.
The house was originally known as the Boyd Hartshorn place.
Firemen returned to the scene Sunday for a re-kindle. |
