| Della Bea Bevel, 82, of Spencer WV, died at 2:47 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013, in the Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington.
She was born December 15, 1930, in Flintwood VA, a daughter of the late William Walter and Rosa Kathryn Sykes Bevel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Cecil Lyons; one son, Dennis Lyons.
Ms. Bevel was a member of the Church of the Living God, Spencer.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Zane Hammack of Elkins WV, Sue and Rich Hayes of Virginia, Connie Handy of Spencer; sons and daughters-in-law, Monroe and Terri Lyons of Fairplain WV, Cecil Lyons of Spencer, James and Cindy Lyons of Spencer, Leo and Lisa Lyons of Ripley WV, David Lyons of Spencer; sisters, Georgia Craig of Florida and Margaret Lyons of Ohio; brother, Chester Bevel of Spencer; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Carl Marks officiating. Burial will be in the McGlothlin Cemetery, Ivydale, at a late date. Friends may call two hours before the service.
