Charleston Police say a man was shot in the back, a woman calling 911 after he walked into her home and locked the door behind him.
Occupants said the man busted through the door, yelling "I'm shot."
He collapsed to the floor in a pool of blood.
The victim was identified as Ollie Nicholson, 22, of Detroit.
Charleston police are looking for a man in connection with the shooting on the West Side.
The victim was taken to a Charleston hospital, where is expected to recover.
