THREE CHARGED FOR ATTEMPT TO SNEAK DRUGS TO CENTRAL REGIONAL PRISIONER

Two Calhoun women are facing multiple charges related to their attempt to deliver contraband drugs to an inmate who is incarcerated in Central Regional Jail.

A criminal complaint filed by Calhoun Sheriff Carl Ballengee says the women allegedly conspired to deliver a contraband drug to inmate Joshua Bohn.

Bohn has also been charged.

Calhoun deputy Randy Holcomb was notified by Central Regional Jail officials that Tiffany Davis, 24, of Fingerboard Road, Big Springs, was leaving contraband under a sink in the Calhoun courthouse jury room, and that the contraband was to be picked-up by a prisoner appearing in court and then delivered to Bohn.

The criminal complaint says in a recorded conversation at Central Regional Jail between Davis and Bohn, Davis indicates her aunt Tina Little, also of Figerboard Road, Big Springs, would be assisting her.

The complaint alleges, while Davis was in the courtroom, Little entered the jury room and concealed the contraband, taping it underneath a sink in a restroom.

The sheriff's department discovered a substance believed to contain a controlled substance.

Davis, Bohn and Little are facing multiple charges related to the incident.
